01. Why should you choose Pegasi Events to organise and co-ordinate your special day? What is your experience and qualifications?
At Pegasi we remember that it’s your day! We always place your dreams and preferences first. We have many years of experience and want you to enjoy and remember your wedding for the rest of your lives together. We are committed to high standards, client satisfaction and take great pride in every event we organise. Therefore quite simply we will only do our best for you. Elizabeth is both Wedding Planner and Event Planner certified and is a distance tutor for both subjects. She has had over sixteen years experience in the industry both in this country and abroad.

02. Why do I require a wedding planner?
Did you know that planning a wedding can take over 250 hours of work? That is over six weeks working fulltime! Many couples these days both have busy schedules and busy social lives and just do not have the time to organise their dream wedding. A wedding consultant means you can relax in the knowledge that someone else is dealing with all the stressful details. Pegasi knows this is your one special day and with our experience, knowledge, qualifications and creativity we will ensure your wedding is a success.

03. If your venue has their own co-ordinator do I really require a private consultant too?
We are happy to work with on site co-ordinators when planning and arranging your wedding. However most onsite co-ordinators do not get involved in the overall picture of your wedding and you must remember that they are employed by the venue and not you! They may be linked to certain suppliers and not have the time to get to know you either. An onsite co-ordinator may even have the day off on your wedding and therefore not be there for you.

04. Do I really need a wedding consultant?
These days on average a wedding costs approximately £20,000! Your wedding is an expensive day and only happens once, therefore you wil want to make sure that everything runs smoothly and leave nothing to chance. A wedding consultant can offer you guidance, ideas, support and ensure that everything runs without a hitch… other that you getting hitched to your partner that is!

05. Will you charge me for your services and if so how?
Pegasi works on a fixed fee confirmed in a written quotation. Some consultants will charge a percentage of your wedding budget or an hourly rate, both of which can easily grow beyond your expectations.

06. How does Pegasi work?
After your enquiry we will come and visit you for an initial consultation. We will get to find out your requirements, wishes and dreams. We want you to get to know us and us to find out as much as we can about you as a couple.
Once we have all your ideas we put together a proposal and quotation for you and upon approval supply you with a formal contract. We will ensure you receive regular updates as plans progress and meetings can be arranged whenever you feel it necessary.

07. Can you help me with interfering relatives?
Yes of course we can. We can give them jobs to be involved with that make them feel valued but without controlling your plans and wishes for your day. We can also help you if necessary explain your wishes to relatives, it sometimes help to involve them in maybe visiting the venue and listening to their opinions before you proceed with your own wishes. Remember they only want the best for you… their best may just be a little different to yours!

08. How does Pegasi select its service providers?
We have a large database of service suppliers that we have experience of working with. Each supplier either comes to us through word of mouth recommendation or is a company we have previously worked with. We check all references and visit each service supplier before we consider using them. If we wouldn’t use them for ourselves we certainly wont use them for you! If we have to research a new supplier or venue for your event we can assure you that we take all steps necessary to ensure that they are the best for the occasion.

09. Will you just “take over”? I still want to be involved!
We take our instructions from you our client. We take charge of your organising but you stay in control at every stage. We will supply you with our recommendations and guidance but all decisions ultimately will be yours. Pegasi remembers its your wedding and your day.

10. What happens if I cancel my wedding?
We ensure that all weddings and events have contracts. The contract will clearly state the procedure for cancelling your wedding or event and at what stage of organising what fees are still if necessary due to Pegasi. Pegasi Events recommends that all clients take out insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances and this will more often than not cover you expenses, please remember if you simply change your mind and don’t want to get married insurance will not normally cover you.
