I have worked in the event management and hospitality industry for over eighteen years. I studied hospitality and catering at college for two years and gained sixteen City & Guilds before entering the Army Catering Corps in the late eighties. When I left the Army I joined my new husband's business and we developed it from a small entertainment agency into a full party services company called Black Cat Party Services. I gained a HND in Leisure Management and have an Open University degree. Over the last decade in addition to my two events planning companies I have been lucky enough to run my own restaurant and understand the pressures and stresses for both my clients and my service suppliers.
My business is now called Pegasi Events and we provide events and wedding consultancy services to the public, venues, corporate and charity sectors on a National and International basis. In addition to running Pegasi Events, I also a tutor/mentor on two level four ASET diploma courses for students studying Events Management and Wedding Planning. This I really enjoy and it keeps me up to date with industry developments as they happen. Earlier in 2009, we launched Pegasi Business Coaching – a consultancy and business coaching service for other planners, the bridal and events industry! I am honoured to be the expert’s expert and continue to invest in my own personal development which benefits all those around me!
Colin
Colin helps behind the scenes of Pegasi and can be met at many of our wedding fairs we attend. He has many years business experience within multinational companies and as a director of an expanding UK company. Colin is married to Elizabeth and supports Pegasi when he isn’t teaching himself.
